With the San Francisco earthquake and fire, there did not exist as detailed an infrastructure to be destroyed; nor was it in as chemically sensitive an area. If the NO citizens have a proper home to return to by Christmas, I will be shocked and pleasantly surprised.

I definitely agree that the recovery will be long, and your estimate sounds as good as anyboy else's. It's hard to tell with the news glut.
